Salary: 250,000 - 285,000 yen / month (Native English teacher depends on experience and working hours)

Salary: 265,000 - 295,000 yen / month (USA or Canadian official teaching license holder, depends on experience and working hours)


Work Days: 4 weekdays + Saturday*

Work Hours: 9:00 - 6:00, 10:00 - 7:00 or 8:00 -5:00

Description of position

Your main classes will be 0 to 5 year-old students and elementary age students.  Additional afternoon & Saturday classes with a variety of ages up to junior high age.

Instructors use materials and curriculum provided by the school as well as those prepared by instructors. All materials are paid for by the school.  Many classes are 50 or 100 minutes, except for main classes. Students learn English through a variety of activities and topics such as phonics, drama, cooking, crafts, and academic lessons similar to those taught in the United States, action-based activities, and right-brain training techniques.

Other duties include preparing lessons and curriculum, keeping records and writing report cards, organizing and attending school events, participating in cleaning and organizing school materials and facilities, helping with school decorations, and assisting with the operation of the school as otherwise instructed.

*Some school events on other days.  *Monday work days once  per month (alternate days off available)  A few teachers has always on (about 36 times) Monday shifts, in this case about 36 times one of week days are off. About 18 times consecutive days off.
